What is the BEAR Congress?

The BEAR (Bucharest Exotics & Wildlife Annual Reunion) is an international congress for veterinary students dedicated to wildlife and exotic animal medicine, entirely conducted in English.

Held over an immersive 2-day weekend, BEAR brings together hundreds of veterinary students from across Europe and beyond with internationally recognised experts to learn, exchange ideas and build the future of wildlife and exotic animal medicine.

The congress combines:

    • International lectures delivered by leading veterinarians

    • Interactive workshops

    • Round-table discussions with professionals

    • Clinical case competitions with valuable prizes

    • Networking opportunities

    • Exclusive congress merchandise

    • Social events, including our traditional Saturday night themed party

The BEAR is much more than a congress, it is an international gathering of students passionate about wildlife and exotic species, where they can all meet, learn and create lasting professional connections.
