What is the BEAR Congress?

The BEAR (Bucharest Exotics & Wildlife Annual Reunion) is an international congress for veterinary students dedicated to wildlife and exotic animal medicine, entirely conducted in English.

Held over an immersive 2-day weekend, BEAR brings together hundreds of veterinary students from across Europe and beyond with internationally recognised experts to learn, exchange ideas and build the future of wildlife and exotic animal medicine.

Since its creation, BEAR has grown into one of the largest student congresses in Europe dedicated to wildlife and exotic animal medicine.

• representing more than 40 veterinary schools

We hosted 18 internationally recognised speakers from France, Portugal, Italy, the Netherlands, South Africa, Romania and several other countries.
